Getting started with BetFinder

Sign in free, read the board, and find your first calibrated pick. A five-minute tour of BetFinder's betting dashboard — every feature, no paywall.

Updated 2026-06-07 · BetFinder team

BetFinder is a free betting dashboard: one board showing, for every game it covers, the single pick most likely to land, an honest win percentage and the best price for it. You can browse the full board without an account — signing in is for when you want BetFinder to know you, and takes about a minute with an account you already have plus one screen confirming you are 18 or over. No card form, no trial, no locked tier.

This is the screen you are heading for: one game per row, each with its recommended pick, a colour-coded confidence chip and an odds chip. A green LIVE pill marks in-play games, a strong favourite looks very different from a toss-up, and an unformed market shows awaiting price rather than a made-up number.

Signing in

Browsing never asks you to sign in — the Sign in chip at the bottom of the sidebar is there for when you want an account. The sign-in page offers exactly two buttons: Continue with Google and Continue with Discord. There is no password and no email form — pick whichever account you already use, and the button shows Redirecting… while it hands you over. New accounts are created automatically on your first sign-in, and BetFinder stores only your email, display name and avatar. By signing up you agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Risk Disclaimer, all linked beneath the buttons.

The same page makes three promises, and the rest of the product is built around them. Only the bets worth taking — thousands of selections are sifted every day and only the ones priced in your favour surface, so the board arrives already curated. Best UK book pricing, side-by-side — every pick shows the top available odds across UK bookmakers, refreshed through the day. Numbers you can trust — every win percentage is a real model output that has been through calibration, never inflated to make a bet look better than it is. Below them, a live strip shows up to three of tonight's real picks straight from the board, tagged all free · no paywall.

Confirming you are 18

Right after your first sign-in you meet a single screen headed Confirm your age. It is the only onboarding BetFinder has:

  1. Pick your date of birth from the Day, Month and Year dropdowns.
  2. Tick the box confirming you are 18 or over and accepting the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Risk Disclaimer.
  3. Press Continue. It reads Confirming… for a moment, then the dashboard opens.
Your date of birth is set once. Afterwards it appears read-only in your account panel — see account and settings — and can only be changed by emailing [email protected]. If the date you enter makes you under 18, the account is permanently blocked and signed out. There is no retry — the block is the point.

A tour of the dashboard

Once the board is open, the breadcrumb at the top reads Dashboard › Upcoming betting board. Four areas matter.

The sidebar

The left-hand menu is how you move around. £ Path sits at the top — the bankroll planner that compares an honest, +EV-gated accumulatorplan against singles and stakes only when there is a genuine edge (the standalone “Build accumulator” view it replaced has been retired; you still build accas yourself on the betslip). How to build a slip either way is covered in the accumulator builder guide. Below it, a Sports section starts with All sports and its total game count, then lists one row per sport; hovering a row reveals a Live nownote on sports with games live right now, and a chevron expands a sport into its competitions so you can scope the board to a single league. A Tables & models section links to Football tables (with a league sub-menu) and Tennis ratings. The footer holds a Discord link and your account chip — your name with Free tier or Pro tier beneath it, or a Sign in chip if you are browsing without an account. The sidebar collapses to icons, and on phones a horizontal strip of sport buttons replaces it.

The top bar

The breadcrumb always shows where you are, and tapping Dashboard brings you back to the full board. The search box — Search teams, leagues, races… — filters the board as you type; press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on a Mac) to jump straight to it. The bell icon is for alerts, visibly marked coming soon.

The board

Every game is one scannable row: kick-off time, the market the pick is in, the fixture, the pick itself in green, a confidence chip with the win percentage, and an odds chip showing decimal odds with the fractional price underneath. The headline is always the pick most likely to land — never the longest-priced option — and a small green edge tag appears when the price is better than it should be. Tap a row to expand its other priced bets, or follow View all markets → to the full match page. The toolbar above gives you Min prob presets, a Sort control (Next to play / Best probability / Best value / Confidence), a Lay mode toggle for laying — betting against — selections, and the Build acca pill. The betting board guide walks every element; probability and confidence explains the percentages.

The betslip

Tap Build acca and the pill switches to Building acca; now tapping any row adds that game's headline pick as a leg on a betslip pinned to the bottom of the screen. Its header shows the combined odds and the honest chance of all legs landing — something like 3 Fold @ 11/2 (6.57) · 16% chance. Open it for the numbered legs, a stake box that works out potential returns, and a bookmaker comparison showing where the best price is. BetFinder never takes, places or holds bets — the slip is carried to your own bookmaker, and betting always involves risk, so treat the board as information rather than a guarantee. The betslip guide covers it leg by leg.

Free, with nothing held back

Everything above is free: the board, the betslip, lay mode, the accumulator builder, the tables and ratings. You will see a Pro label on the account chip and in the account panel, where the subscription row is marked coming soon — but nothing sits behind it today, and no screen asks you to pay. When you are ready, open the board and have a look around.

Where to get help

The quickest route to support is the Discord link in the sidebar footer — Join our Discord — where you can ask questions and report anything that looks wrong. The rest of these guides cover each part of the product in depth.

Quick answers

Do I need to create a password?

No. Sign-in is only through Google or Discord, so there is no password to set or remember. Your account is created automatically the first time you sign in.

Is BetFinder really free?

Yes — every feature is free and nothing is paywalled. Pro exists only as a tier label today, with subscriptions marked coming soon in the account panel.

What happens if I enter a date of birth under 18?

The account is permanently blocked and signed out, and you are shown a page with free safer-gambling contacts. There is no way to retry with a different date — if you made a genuine mistake, email [email protected].

Does BetFinder place bets for me?

No. BetFinder never takes, places or holds money. The betslip builds and prices your selections, then hands the slip to the bookmaker you choose — the bet itself always happens at your own bookmaker.
